Fazenda Irarema produces high-end olive and avocado oil. It is located in the southeast part of Brazil, at the basis of a long-extinct volcano, a region with fertile land long known for its internationally awarded specialty coffees.
A former coffee farm, Irarema invested in olive growing in the last decade and was the first Brazilian olive oil to receive a Best-In-Class Award at the New York International Olive Oil Competition, followed by many awards in the US and Europe in subsequent years. It currently produces olive oil, avocado oil, and flavored oils. Irarema is also a regional sought-after tourist destination and many of the tours are conducted by the very owners, adding an extra charm to the amazing scenery and fine food served at the café.
